How it works?

  • Click on “Registration” in the menu to be redirected to Qidigo.com, our online registration platform. We invite you to create a user account to register your child.
  • It is important to provide us with all the requested information.
  • For support, please watch this informational video (French only) or call us during office hours at 514-500-2225.

• Modification of Registration:

You can request a registration modification before the start of the camp or during the summer by contacting us during office hours at 514-500-2225.

You can change programs or weeks depending on availability. Fees may apply if you choose a more expensive program.

To help you choose programs and camp weeks, consult the program schedule and rates.

• Refund Policy:

All refund requests must be made in writing by completing the refund request form available online.

The form must be received at least 10 days before the start of the session for which you wish to be reimbursed, otherwise, the reimbursement cannot take place. We only reimburse full weeks.

A 10% non-refundable administration fee applies to all cancellations.

2• LOGISTICS

• Online Attendance Manager:

To ensure the safety of participants and to optimize the management of attendance, arrivals, and departures. You must complete your profile on Qidigo.com.

• Arrivals:

From 8:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., participants are invited to join their group! The name of your counselor will be sent to you by email the Thursday before the beginning of your week at camp. Attendance will be taken by your child’s counselor.

We respect all the sanitary measures put in place by the association of day camps and by the government of Quebec. For more information, you can review the official document for Covid Measures at Camps in Quebec.

• Departures:

We invite parents to pick up their children between 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Upon arrival, please present the password to your counselor. Directional signs will be displayed to guide you.

To ensure the safety of all campers, we ask you, during registration, to choose a password to pick up your child. This password will be verified by camp staff when parents/guardians come to pick up their child. The password you choose should be easy to remember and only shared with the adult(s) you authorize to pick up your child from camp.

If you send a third party to pick up the child at camp, please let us know and communicate the password to that person before they come to camp. If this person shows up without a password, they will be directed to reception. The administration will then verify their identity.

• Notification if a place becomes available:

If the program you wish to enroll your child in is full, you can subscribe to a notification list. An automatic email will be sent to all registrants on the notification list of the desired program when a place becomes available. You must then register your child online through Qidigo.com.

Please note that receiving an email notifying you of new availability does not guarantee you a place.

3• HEALTH

It is important to keep your child’s Qidigo file up to especially the health section of their file, the wearing of life jackets, allergies, and special needs of the child. Not sure if your child needs a life jacket? Ask your counselor to perform a swim test.

If your child suffers from serious conditions such as allergies and diabetes. If they need medical or specific attention, do not hesitate to contact us. Come and meet the counselor, and the health and safety coordinator to tell us the needs of your child. In case of severe allergies, please provide us with two epinephrine auto-injectors (Epipen®). The counselor will keep one with them at all times and the second will be in the possession of your child.

WARNING: Allergies – As some children who attend camp during the summer suffer from severe allergies, we ask all parents to cooperate to ensure that their child’s meals and snacks do not contain any traces of peanuts, tree nuts, or sesame.

4• SHUTTLE SERVICE

You can register your child for our shuttle service. One of our counselors will then take care of picking up your child at one of the two assembly points and accompanying them to the camp. You must choose the time and meeting point from the following options:

• Metro Berri-UQAM: 8:15 a.m. and 5 p.m.

• Longueuil Metro: 8:15 a.m. and 5 p.m.

PRICE: $35 per week

5• EXTENDED SUPERVISION SERVICE

You can choose to enroll your child in the extended supervision service (ESS) by the week or by period. The service is offered from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and from 4:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Campers registered with the ESS will do a variety of activities: sports, arts and crafts, cooperative games, etc.

PRICE: $50 per week

A late fee of $15 per 10-minute delay will apply for campers still at camp after 6:01 p.m. The fees for the extended reception service must be paid on the same day.

6• SECURITY

Day Camp Urban Excursion is part of the Association des Camps du Québec and follows all the safety standards imposed by it.

7• COMMUNICATION

Please note that you will receive all information about the camp in the welcome package sent by email the Thursday before the start of your child’s stay.

The welcome package is a guide that contains the name of your child’s counselor, a reminder of the password, and all other relevant information relating to the camp (schedule, rules, procedures, etc.).

8• MEALS AND SNACKS

Campers should bring meals that do not need to be refrigerated or be reheated in the microwave. Please avoid glass containers. Remember to include two snacks and a bottle of water.

For the safety of our campers with severe allergies, we ask that camper meals and snacks be free of tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame.

We offer a lunch service for campers in collaboration with Gestion GSP / Traiteur parc Jean-Drapeau. You can choose between the regular or vegetarian option. Note that the lunch catering service does not include snacks.

PRICE: $59 per week
